African Drumming Classes

Beginner

All drumming classes taught by master Ghanian drummer, Nii Ardey Allotey.

Drumming instruction includes:
-5 hand techniques
-Use of shaker, drum, and bell
-A limited class size for personal attention: 8-14 students

Drumming Class Time & Days:
Mondays, May  6 – Jun 10  , 7-8pm;

Tuesdays, May 7  – Jun  11  , 7-8pm
Location: Anansi Beat, 3409 SE Belmont, Portland OR
Cost: $16 per class, or $75 for a 6 week series.

African Dancing Classes

Beginner

Instruction in traditional dance from Ghana taught by Nii Ardey Allotey.

Dance Class Time: 7:30-9:00pm
Dates: Wednesdays, May 8- Jun 12, 2023
Location: Taekwon-do studio 2940A SE Belmont St. Portland OR
Cost: $16 per class, or $75 for the series.
